As an Associate Member (Developer), you will join the Sokrates Apps Team and contribute to Sokrates, a Student Information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) used by BINUS partner schools. You will work closely with developers and mentors, starting with small bugs and features before gradually taking on sprint tasks as your skills grow. Our main technologies include Laravel, AWS Lambda (serverless), Angular, Flutter, and PostgreSQL.

What You Will Do

  • Learn the Sokrates development workflow and coding standards.
  • Work on bug fixes, improvements, and small features.
  • Use Git for branching, merge requests, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with developers during sprints.
  • Follow the team's review process before changes are merged.
  • Handle school and user data responsibly.

Requirements

  • Active BINUS student in semester 1–5.
  • For semester 2–5, minimum GPA 3.00.
  • For semester 1, no GPA requirement.
  • Good programming fundamentals, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to learn and open to feedback.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Able to commit 20 hours per week.
  • Working hours are flexible around your class schedule, within Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00.
  • Willing to follow confidentiality and data protection requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, databases, or SQL.
  • Experience with Laravel, Angular, Flutter, or AWS.
  • A portfolio, GitHub profile, personal project, or university project you can show.

  • Can this role be counted as a BINUS Enrichment Program internship?
    No. This role does not count toward the BINUS Enrichment Program.
  • How long is the contract?
    1 year, starting 1 March 2027.
  • Is this role WFO or WFH?
    WFO at BeeHub, BINUS Anggrek.
  • Can I adjust my working hours around my class schedule?
    Yes. Working hours are flexible within Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a commitment of 20 hours per week.
